Speaker: Officer Josh Porter

Officer Josh Porter is a K9 Officer for Middleburg Heights Police Department. He has been with the City for years and has been assigned to the K9 Unit for the past 4 years.  His K9 partner's name is Axel. They are part of the West Side K9 Training Group, which consists of the following Police Departments: Independence, Brecksville, Parma, Walton Hills, Brunswick, Bedford, and Strongsville.

Topic: The relationship between a police dog and his or her handler requires closeness and the ability to communicate and work together well as a team. The dog must obey hand signals, voice commands, and pre-planned training procedures.

Registration is mandatory.

You can now register and pay for all meetings for the year at one time.  Topics and meeting times will be emailed to you prior to the meeting date which will include an overview of the meeting with speakers that will be present.
