Come and continue to expand your knowledge with an in-depth review of the bookends in the construction process. Starting with details of a successful precon, that moves into getting the project started but not to be forgotten about is the project close-out.

Best practices, tips, and tricks, along with real life examples will be shared during this two-hour engaging presentation.

DAVE ELSEY 

Client Account Manager - GPD Group

David Elsey graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology and a minor in Business Administration. Dave has held roles at Town Center Construction, Turner Construction, Tober Building Company, Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, and now GPD Group.

During his 19-year career, Dave has put over $800m and more than 2m square feet of work in place in various market segments and in varying roles throughout northeast Ohio. Dave's experience extends throughout the field as field engineer and superintendent as well as in the office in varying engineer/coordinator, estimator, scheduler, project manager, project executive, and director roles.

Dave has extensive experience in building construction through both public and private commercial market sectors including numerous projects in healthcare, higher education, K-12 schools, federal, institutional, public assembly, hospitality, retail, commercial office space, multi-family, and more.

JACKIE COOPER 

Project Controls Manager - The Ruhlin Company

Jackie Cooper is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Civil Engineering. She has worked in the industry for 15 years, 12 of them being at The Ruhlin Company. She has held jobs ranging from, Project Engineer to Project Manager, and is now a Project Controls Specialist. On top of that, Jackie is actively involved in construction related organizations. Outside of work Jackie likes to travel, be outdoors, and being active, when she can combine all three it’s a perfect trifecta.
