Cleveland Metropolitan School District Launched PACE (Planning and Career Exploration) for Students

Body

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District, in its Vision for Post-Pandemic Learning, is launching a student-centered approach to career exploration, active planning, and decision-making. This initiative, PACE (Planning and Career Exploration), builds on and aligns to all CMSD Priorities, including but not limited to The Cleveland Plan, Say Yes to Education, and the Equity & Inclusion Declaration.

PACE will provide all students from 6th – 12th grade a framework to identify self-interests, strengths, and passions, actively explore occupations and career pathways, and provide opportunities to engage in quality experiences with local community partners and employers. PACE is the product of a co-convening of CMSD, The Cleveland Foundation, and more than 100 CMSD and community representatives.

This fall and winter, the program team, community partners, and/or CMSD building leads are seeking employer partners to support many experiences.
