Mayor Justin Bibb is pursuing plans to make the process of obtaining building permits and other city-issued permits quicker, less cumbersome, and ideally, less paper-based.

The review and recommendations would cover all types of city-issued permits – from building permits related to a massive development or small, single-home kitchen renovations, to special event permits for community gatherings or movie filming.
