Contractors Assistance Association Update

At the September 16, 2021 CAA meeting new officers were elected to the board. Chelsea Maldonado of Adrian Maldonado & Associates was elected as Vice President and Membership Services and Jackie Jacob of Great Lakes Construction, First Vice Chair and Events. Chelsea and Jackie join the board along with: Shakorie Davis, President, Heather Baines, Treasurer, Orlando Taylor, Education Committee Chair and Adrian Maldonado, Employment Committee Chair.

The next CAA meeting will be held on December 9 at CEA. Save the date for December 20 for the Annual CAA Holiday Social! More information to follow. 

The inaugural Contractor Night School is underway with fourteen participants. The eight-week course is designed with the intent: “To teach you something today, that you can use tomorrow”. Hosted by Next Generation Construction, the participants are learning how to become a better business leader and advance the success their companies, creating an implementation plan to win and manage work in a more efficient and cost-effective manner and networking professionally and effectively.
