FutureLAND Conference Aims to Boost Diversity in Cleveland's Tech, Innovation Sectors

Backers of a new conference called FutureLAND are seeking to give a boost to diversity in Cleveland's innovation and technology sectors.

Organizers on Wednesday, Sept. 21, announced details of FutureLAND, which will take place Oct. 27 and 28. The event, at venues including Tower City Center and the East Bank of the Flats, will feature panels, workshops and fireside chats with industry leaders and experts. It also will include entertainment, networking opportunities and two tech-focused pitch events in which founders will compete "for more than $100,000 in non-dilutive funding," according to an event announcement.
